Ciaran Hinds in "Jane Eyre"

Ciaran Hinds played the leading role of Mr. Edward Rochester in the movie "Jane Eyre". This movie was released on October 17, 1997 and aired on the A&E Television Network. It was based on the novel of the same name by Charlotte Bronte. "Jane Eyre" is about a young governess who falls in love with her employer, a very eccentric and mysterious man named Edward Rochester. They plan on marrying until she finds out that he is already married. As a result of this, she breaks off the engagement and flees in the middle of the night, even though she is still in love with him. After many exciting plot twists, the couple finally reunite, get married and have a child.
The Life of Ciaran Hinds
Ciaran Hinds was born in Belfast, Ireland on February 9, 1953. His mother was a school teacher and his father was a doctor. He and his four siblings were reared as Catholics. As a young boy, Ciaran enjoyed Irish dancing. He attended college and opted to study law after graduation. Soon after entering law school, he withdrew to become an actor. His very first role was in a 1976 production of "Cinderella" at the Glasgow Citizens' Theatre. Hinds was a regular performer there throughout the 1970s and 1980s. His very first movie appearance was in John Boorman's "Excaliber" in 1981. He has starred in many movies since that time, including his leading role as Edward Rochester in "Jane Eyre".
